An ancient parish church, parts of which date from the 11th Century. The church was heavily restored in 1897, and further alterations took place in 1955 and 1972. Now part of the Benefice of Brede with Udimore, this church continues to sing God’s praise and celebrate the sacraments.
In the churchyard stands the memorial to the men of Rye Harbour who died when the Mary Stanford lifeboat sank in 1928. Services at Rye Harbour Church are usually on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 5pm for Evening Prayer. Please check the parish website for other services and events.
