Learn how to craft your own bird feeder using some simple willow weaving techniques on this workshop at Rye Harbour Discovery Centre.
Willow weaver Julie Gurr will teach you how to weave a small hanging basket to put fat balls in. Your basket could also be filled with sheeps’ wool, for birds to use as nesting material, or used in the home for storing garlic.
Our café will be open until 4.15pm serving refreshments and light lunches. The Centre is a wheelchair-friendly venue.
